Service Credits Overview

ArcGIS Online is based on an annual subscription with flexible plans to choose from. Each plan includes access for a number of users and service credits. Service credits are used in exchange for premium hosted services.

  • Using mapping, business, and configurable apps to access the data you store in ArcGIS Online.
  • Use of ArcGIS Online foundation maps and data (e.g., basemaps, Landsat imagery, landscape layers, live traffic and other live feeds).
  • Exporting data stored in ArcGIS Online.
  • Single address or place search.
  • Leveraging your own ArcGIS for Server capabilities to host and publish map services.

ArcGIS Online Subscription Plans

ArcGIS Online subscription plans provide flexible pricing and licensing options for your organization.

Each subscription includes a certain number of named users and service credits and has to be renewed annually.
Pricing for each subscription plan is based on both the number of named users and the number of service credits.

Subscription FAQs

Can I add more named users to my subscription?

Yes. If you need to add more named users, you can do so at any time. Additional named users are available in 5 packs. You can purchase online, e-mail us at telebusiness@esri.com, or give us a call at 1-800-447-9778.

Do service credits expire?

Service credits that are included with a subscription expire at the end of the subscription term (12 months). Any additional purchased service credits expire after 24 months, starting from the date of purchase.

Tech Support and Service-Level Agreement

Tech support is included as part of your annual subscription. You can view the ArcGIS Online Service-Level Agreement here [PDF].

How do I add more service credits to my subscription?

You can add more service credits to your subscription at any time. Additional credits can be purchased in blocks of 1,000. These additional purchased service credits are good for two years from the date of purchase. You can purchase online, e-mail  telebusiness@esri.com, or give us a call at 1-800-447-9778.

Do you have special plans for NGOs, nonprofits, or schools?
